We analyze the song's tempo, beat positions and loudness, then place circles on strong beats, sliders on sustained sounds and spinners at big transitions. The same song and difficulty always produce the same map, so you can chase your best score.

Click circles with your mouse, or hover over them and press Z or X. Hold to follow sliders and move in circles to spin spinners. On phones and tablets, use your finger. Press Esc to pause and Space to skip long intros.

The gauge drains over time and refills when you hit notes. If it empties, the stage fails unless No Fail is on. At each story checkpoint the gauge must be above the line for that act to succeed.
